Installation

Nexa provides official installers for multiple platforms to ensure a consistent experience on your primary operating system.

Windows Installation

We provide a .exe installer and a portable version for Windows users:

  1. Go to the Nexa download page to get the latest Nexa-Setup.exe.
  2. Double-click the installer and follow the setup wizard.
  3. After installation, you can find the Nexa shortcut in your Start menu or Desktop.

Tip: If you prefer keeping Nexa on a USB drive, you can download the portable .zip version. Extract it and run Nexa.exe directly.

macOS Installation

Nexa fully supports macOS with native builds for different chip architectures:

  1. Download the .dmg package corresponding to your Mac chip:

    • Intel Chip: Download Nexa-x64.dmg.
  2. Double-click the .dmg file.
  3. Drag the Nexa icon into the Applications folder.
  4. On the first launch, if prompted with "App from an unidentified developer", please click "Open Anyway" in "System Settings > Privacy & Security".

Linux Installation

For Linux users, we recommend the .AppImage format:

  2. Make it executable in your terminal:
    bash
    chmod +x Nexa-x86_64.AppImage

(Note: We also provide a .deb package for Debian/Ubuntu users.)
